Glasgow Botanical Gardens

Situated in the West-End of Glasgow, the Botanical Gardens are always top of my list of things to do when visiting the city. Even if you're not a big fan of plants, the buildings themselves are alone worth visiting, especially the stunning and impressive Kibble Palace, a 19th century wrought iron glasshouse.

Created in 1917, the greenhouses feature a huge variety of plants ranging from the New Zealand and Australian tree ferns in Kibble Palace to tropical plants and beautifully unique succulents. Even for someone who knows little about plants, I could spend hours walking around these stunning buildings.
