The Hoxton, Paris
The Hoxton, Paris
Last weekend I was invited to stay at the gorgeous Hoxton Hotel in Paris. Staying at The Hoxton has been on my list for a while, so a trip to Paris was the perfect excuse to visit.
Located down a quiet street in 2nd arrondissement and in the the vibrant Sentier neighbourhood, The Hoxton takes residence in an elegant 18th century mansion and has been beautiful restored.
There are four options in terms of size - Shoebox (smallest), Cosy (standard), Roomy (bigger) and Biggy (largest) - pretty self explanatory! We were in a ‘Cosy’ room which was actually a really decent size considering the name, with big ceilings and a queen size bed. Design is at the core of this hotel and all rooms come with chevron timber floors, bold feature walls, and gorgeous contemporary bathrooms with beautiful tiles. I also loved the statement luxurious bedsheets which I now want for my own home.
Bars and Restaurants
Rivié - a gorgeous all day dining restaurant with French inspired dishes. We had dinner here on Sunday evening and there was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend the Aubergine Ravioli.
Jacques Bar - an intimate bar with a Moroccan-inspired drinks list.
Planche - a gorgeous little wine bar with excellent cheese and charcuterie.
We loved our stay here - the whole hotel from the rooms to the communal areas and restaurants are beautifully designed with a vibrant atmosphere.
There are currently seven Hoxton sites with two in London, one in Amsterdam and Paris and three in the US. Plus to more on their way this year in Southwark, London and Downtown LA. So would definitely recommend a visit to any of their hotels or restaurants if visiting the cities above!
